Ugh...lost touch

Well...I have lost touch with this blogging thing so quickly.  Life seems to get in the way with what you want to be doing and need to be doing.  Oh well...I'll try to do this again :-)

Robert and I have been doing well with the diet.  We have "strayed" on one day during the weekend and decided that one meal would give us a break from the strictness of what we are doing.  I don't think its going to hurt us and I think we still have our brains in the ball game as such.

I am feeling like I am loosing.  I weighed 2 weeks ago and had lost 10 pounds.  Felt good, but I have SO MUCH to loose that sometimes its overwhelming.  So I just try to focus one day at the time.

Week before last I started having some stomach issues.  I began feeling like my heart was stopping and starting.  I was convinced that I was having heart issues and after much soul searching, so much time searching the web I believe (not sure) that it was esophagul spasms again.  This time I felt it so much more than heart burn.  But THANK GOD....he has truly blessed me and I am beginning to feel better.  I ate very small meals because I seemed to get so bloated after eating.  I have had severe cramping and couldn't really sleep.  So after lots of searching for answers online and its amazing how many people suffer from GERD (acid reflux) and these spasms.  The answer for me this time was small meals, no caffeine, no carbonation.  I felt like anything that had carbs in it hurt me, I ate LOTS of soups and still doing that, ate lots of boiled eggs and toast.  Really tried to keep my stomach from eating so much.  Also found out that peppermint basically stopped me from having the thumping that was going on I suppose due to spasms.  They do make a pill so this weekend going to pick that up and try that instead of having to take so much peppermint candy.  Also acedapholis (sp) also helps with the food and digestion issues so I am going to get some of that to take as well.

So thankful to be feeling better.  Still feel bloated but I can handle that now to get my sleeping pattern better :-) and I should be ship shape again.

I have been riding my bike 30 minutes a day.  Seems to be helping as well.  I didn't get to ride today since I worked, probably won't get to ride tomorrow since I work then errands and then picking up Marli Claire from school.  But I will try.

So I guess thats all for now.  Will try to update more tomorrow.  Night Night...ugh...at least I hope I can sleep :-)
